Unboxing the VibePad 2
As a vocal fan of the Original VibePad, I unboxed the VibePad 2 with a few reservations and a why-mess-with-a-good-thing attitude. As I examined the Vibepad 2 from top to bottom, there was no denying the intrigue of the little silicone tongue protruding from one of the arches.
I flicked the tongue feature with my finger and was surprised at how smooth, flexible, and soft it is. Aside from the tongue and the color of the silicone, the VibePad 2 looks and feels exactly like the Original: oval-shaped, flexible, and smooth against bare skin. And like the Original, the Vibepad 2 includes a remote that allows you to operate its functions with a simple press of a button.
Along with the toy and remote, each Vibepad 2 box includes a USB charging cable and instruction booklet.
How Does The VibePad 2 Work?
If you caught my Original VibePad review and were impressed by how user-friendly it is, you’ll be glad to know that the VibePad 2 functions almost exactly the same way.
To turn it on, press the power button on the underside of the toy once, at which point it will blink, indicating it's in stand-by mode. Press the power button again to turn the vibration on and activate the remote, which can control all of the VibePad 2's features.
Now, it's worth noting that the VibePad 2 can't be turned on and off with the remote. Yes, it can control the vibration, warming, and tongue fluttering settings, but only the power button can turn the toy on and off completely.
Construction and Design
Both the Original Vibepad and the VibePad 2 are vibrators designed specifically for grinding. They have a flat, flexible, oval construction that can be placed on a chair, a pillow, a partner’s lap — anywhere you deem fit for grinding.
The Vibepad 2 features two arches of different sizes spread out over the toy's surface. Each arch has its own motor so you can control them separately. You can make the arches vibrate simultaneously at various speeds and patterns, or turn on one arch at a time.
