LELO Ina 3: First Impressions

My first thought after unboxing the Lelo Ina 3 was: oooh, pretty. It has a ultra-smooth shape and comes in 3 lovely, ocean-inspired colors: seaweed green, seafoam blue, and coral.

I was also pleased to see that this toy comes with some bonus items. In addition to the Ina 3, you get a nice carrying case, a lube sample, and a warranty registration card to protect your investment. 

The next thing I noticed was how bendy the clitoral stimulator is, which is a great perk for me. In my experience with rabbit style toys, the more flexible the clit stimulator is, the easier it is to line up with my anatomy (more on this later!).

I also noted the simple 4-button interface, which is something that might particularly appeal to folks who are intimidated by the tech-heavy toys with a complex control panel. 

As I fiddled around with the Ina 3, the thing that truly stopped me in my tracks was its vast range of vibration settings. As I cycled through each level of intensity I thought, “Wow. This toy has a vibe speed for everyone.” And after thoroughly testing it, I stand by that.

How Does The Lelo Ina 3 Work?

The Lelo Ina 3 is a rabbit-style toy, which means it has a dual design that combines both internal and external stimulation. The top part of the toy vibrates the clitoris while the bottom part penetrates the vagina and massages the G-spot.

The body of the Ina 3 is made from smooth silicone that’s not only silky to the touch, but completely non-porous and body-safe (a must for any sex toy!). The shaft offers about 4.5-inches of insertable length, and features a thoughtfully curved shape designed to conform to the G-spot and ignite the internal clitoral network. 

Before I elaborate on my personal experience, let’s talk about the shaft. Not only is it perfectly curved for the G-spot, but it has girth. At its widest point, the shaft is 1.7-inches in diameter, which is nice and thick, particularly for a rabbit toy. If you like a girthy shaft for penetrative play, the Ina 3 will not disappoint. 

Meanwhile, the clitoral stimulator is curved too — just in the other direction. It sort of hovers over the clit/top of the vulva rather than firmly pressing into it. For me, this is a huge perk.

Now, I’ve always had somewhat of a love/hate relationship with rabbit vibrators because the clitoral stimulators are often too firm, too inflexible, or too close to my clitoris, which can make the whole experience a little uncomfortable. The Ina 3 has a very flexible clit stimulator that glides over my clitoris in a gentle, controlled way. 

But this toy’s girthy shaft and bendy clit stimulator aren’t even my favorite things about this toy. What really sets the Ina 3 apart, for me, is its exceptionally wide vibration range.

This toy features a whopping ten vibration settings, ranging from so gentle I barely feel it to so powerful I can hardly handle it. And the in-between speeds are all so different from each other, delivering a wonderfully varied buffet of intensity.

Again, as far as vibration goes, I’m confident the Ina 3 has something for everybody. It also has different patterns to play around with if you want to switch up the sensation.

It should come as no surprise that the Ina 3 gets two enthusiastic thumbs up from me. But as always, there are a few potential pitfalls to consider. Let’s talk pros and cons, starting with the good stuff. 

Should I Buy The Lelo Ina 3?

Waterproof. Oh, how I adore a waterproof vibrator. The Ina 3 is waterproof — not water resistant — meaning you can feel free to enjoy all the bath or showertime fun your body desires (yes, even if that means submerging it!). Just be sure to completely seal the little charging port to keep your toy extra protected.  

Body-safe. The Ina 3 is completely body-safe, which means you don’t have to worry about phthalates, BPAs, or porous materials that collect bacteria and break down over time… (lookin’ at you, jelly rubber). You can rub this toy all over your body and rest easy knowing it’s perfectly safe. 

As you can see, design and vibration range aren’t the only things going for the Ina 3. But ultimately, they're the things that I love the most! LELO Ina 3 Potential Cons

So, what’s not to love about the Ina 3?

Grip. Personally, I found this toy to be very easy to maneuver during solo play. But my partner, who has larger hands, complained that the handle is too small and smooth to get a good grip.

Shop easy-to-operate vibrators! 

Because it doesn’t have a looped handle (like the Femme Funn Cora, for example), folks with larger hands might find it difficult to hold during quick or vigorous thrusting. So if you or your partners have big hands, that’s something to consider. 

Button Placement. My partner also complained about the placement of the buttons, which are located right on the handle. The harder you grip the handle, the more likely you are to accidentally press a button you didn’t want to press.

And while it’s an easy fix to just return to the setting you were enjoying, it can be disorienting to suddenly switch up the vibration. 

Aside from that, there are no other notable cons, in my experience. But keep in mind that silicone toys are not compatible with silicone lube! To preserve the integrity of this toy’s materials, I suggest water-based lubricant.
